Special Powers: Ability to manipulate metal
History: Hyatt Obannon was the only daughter born to the Obannons, your somewhat typical middle-class family. Her father was a policeman who would usually come to see his daughter after a hard day of work and tell her stories about his job during her childhood. When he wasn't around, she would usually watch superhero shows, and awe at how they always managed to save the day. These two factors came together and turned Hyatt into a headstrong girl with a sense of justice.
She discovered her powers on accident at the age of six at the site of a traffic accident, when she liquified the cars in an attempt to save the people within. The people at the scene thought the cars melted due to the heat, but Hyatt was too young to consider that possibility. She went home and told her parents that she had special powers. Her parents, after they got over the shock, told her to never show it to other people, and Hyatt very reluctantly agreed.
She spent the last few years working on various student governments, hoping to be as good as her now deceased father, now killed in duty, in improving people's lives. In the meanwhile, she also hones her abilities in the secrecy of her home, just in case she might need to use it.
Personality: Hyatt is a stubborn girl who dedicates herself to upholding what she considers to be justice. She clings to her beliefs like glue and defends them even when she herself doesn't believe in it anymore. Although she tries her hardest to keep her cool, she will eventually explode when she's pushed to the edge. She will respect other people's opinions, unless if it is something in bad taste (like say, "killing people isn't so bad after all." Her immediate response will be to yell at the person in question).
When she isn't agitated, Hyatt tries to be easygoing with the other people around her. She aims to become a model citizen for the community, so that someday people will follow after her example, just like how her father was her role model. She has a lot of pride in the work that she does, and while she attempts to repress it, it sometimes seeps through.
Appearance: She has blond hair and brown eyes. She doesn't care much about her appearances, so she looks a bit untidy, even when she attempts to look formal. She is a bit short, but she doesn't let her height get to her... or at least she tries not to. (PB: Cagalli Yuna Attha from Gundam SEED)
